Subscription Policy

Thank  you for choosing Oliver's Butcher & Catering for your weekly eats and freezer fillers. This Subscription Policy explains how our subscription plans work, how you ae billed and how you can pause or cancel.

By purchasing a subscription from us you agree to the terms below.


1. How our subscriptions work

  • When you sign up for a subscription you agree to receive recurring orders on the schedule you select at checkout (for example weekly or monthly).

  • Your subscription will continue automatically until you skip a delivery, pause your plan or cancel.

  • Subscriptions apply only to the eligible products or “boxes” listed in the plan details.


2. Billing & payments

  • All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.

  • Your card or payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each renewal period.

  • By starting a subscription, you authorize Oliver’s Butcher & Catering and our billing provider to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • If a payment fails we may retry your card a few times. If payment still does not go through, your upcoming order may be paused or cancelled.


3. Delivery or pickup

Details will depend on how you set things up so adjust this part:

  • Subscriptions are available for local delivery and in-store pickup.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. If an order cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, missed pickup or no one available to accept the order any replacement is at our discretion and may include an additional fee.

Because we deal with fresh food we recommend placing your order into the fridge or freezer as soon as you receive it.


4. Cut-off times for changes

To make sure your order is prepared on time we have a cut-off window for changes.

  • Changes to your subscription (skipping, pausing, product changes) must be made at least 3 days / 72 hours before the next scheduled billing date.

  • Changes made after this cut-off may apply to the following cycle instead.

You can manage your subscription through your customer account or by contacting us directly.


 

5. Skipping, pausing or changing your plan

We know life happens.

  • You can skip an upcoming order for a one-off break.

  • You can pause your subscription if you need a longer break.

  • You can change your plan (for example size or frequency) as long as it is done before the cut-off time mentioned above.

Instructions on how to manage your subscription are included in your confirmation email or can be requested anytime.


6. Cancelling your subscription

  • You can cancel your subscription any time after the first billing cycle.

  • To cancel, you must do so before the next billing date so your card is not charged for the upcoming cycle.

  • Cancellations made after billing may apply to the following cycle. Once an order is already in progress it may not be cancelled or refunded.

7. Refunds, returns and order issues

Because our products are fresh food, we are not able to accept returns once an order has left our shop. If there is an issue with your order please reach out within 24 hours of delivery or pickup with your name and order number. We may offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • Replacement of the item

  • Store credit

  • Partial refund

We reserve the right to decline refunds or credits in cases of:

  • Incorrect address provided by the customer.

  • Missed pickup or delivery where reasonable attempts were made.

  • Products left out of refrigeration or mishandled after delivery.


8. Substitutions & availability

From time to time, certain cuts or items may be unavailable. In that case we may:

  • Substitute with a similar product of equal or higher value

  • Contact you to approve a change

  • Provide a credit for the missing item on a future order

We always aim to keep the same quality, vibe and value you signed up for.


9. Allergies & dietary needs

Please review product descriptions carefully and reach out if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. We work carefully but our kitchen and butcher shop handle common allergens such as wheat, dairy, eggs, soy and nuts so we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.


10. Changes to this policy or to subscription prices

We may update this Subscription Policy or adjust prices from time to time.

  • Any price change for existing subscribers will be communicated in advance.

  • Continued use of the subscription after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
